Retreat Infomation

All retreats begin at noon Mondays with lunch and concluding after lunch on Tuesday. Check in begins @10:00 a.m. Monday.

The usual format for a STS chapter retreat involves prayer offices, Eucharist, presentation(s), discussion, fellowship, opportunity for individual Confession and Absolution, and the order for Healing and Anointing.

All of the worship services are printed in their entirety in a worship folder; you need not bring service books or hymnals. 

Cassocks/collars are the usual clergy attire for STS retreats.

Participants are most often, but not limited to, ELCA, LCMS, NALC,  LCMC, WELS, CORE clergy, as well as synod deacons, deacon candidates, and diakonia students. You need not be a member of The Society of the Holy Trinity to attend. Lodging is most often single; handicapped rooms are available. Laity are especially welcome. Lodging, conference room, dining room, and chapel are each in their own buildings.

The complete expense for Retreats is $150.00 and is payable in advance.

You register by mailing your check made out to STS FL CHAPTER with the dates for that particular retreat in the "memo" and mail it to The Rev. Lawrence Recla, STS, Dean; 1720 Hagood Loop, The Villages, FL 32162.

We use San Pedro Center, 2400 Dike Road, Winter Park, FL 32792-8104 which is the Retreat and Conference Center for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orlando.
